Finding Match Funding for Youth Unemployment Projects – Scotland’s Priority 5: Strategic Skills Pipeline

The introduction of new Priority 5 half way through the programme period is part of the Scottish response to youth unemployment in a time of financial crisis when match funding is difficult to find. Priority 5 is implemented by Community Planning Partnerships and is an implementation structure that gives a strategic push to funding but also creates incentives for different partners to take a more joined-up approach to projects that combat youth unemployment.
